He packed the venue over the weekend at Mogalakwena Stadium in Mokopane, Limpopo, for his very first booking since getting into a tragic accident that took the life of his eight-year-old daughter, Onthatile. Entertainer Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, fondly known as Shebeshxt, returned to the stage after the tragedy.
The accident happened in June on the R37 near the Smelters Mine outside Polokwane, while on his way to a gig at around 10 pm. His car was reported to have overturned after colliding with a heavy motor vehicle, killing his daughter and seriously injuring the rapper and another passenger.
A close friend said he is starting to feel like himself again. “But this is not something one can recover over a few months or even a year. He still needs time,” the friend said.
