Sol Phenduka gets dragged as he celebrates daughter’s birthday

Media personality and podcaster Sol Phenduka took to social media on Sunday to celebrate a personal milestone — his daughter’s 7th birthday.

Sharing a photo of a birthday cake, Sol captioned the post: “A father to a 7 year old child. Great day today.” The post was meant to mark a joyful occasion and highlight his role as a proud dad.

Online Backlash Overshadows Celebration

However, the celebration was quickly overshadowed by backlash from social media users who took issue with Sol’s past podcast behavior and commentary.

Instead of joining in the birthday well-wishes, several users criticized him for not standing up for women during controversial podcast moments.

One user commented: “Insulting women every week yet you have a daughter. Unbelievable.” Another wrote: “You have a daughter? So why did you find it funny when your coworker was degrading a woman?”

A third echoed the sentiment: “Poor baby. A father that sits on a podcast and either degrades women or lacks the balls to call out disgusting behaviour from fellow men! SMH.”

Public Demands Accountability

The backlash reflects growing calls for public figures to align their values, especially when fatherhood and respect for women are concerned.
